It will go that smoothly IF the buyer doesn't get someone in Tech Support that will dig their heels in over something as trivial as the Terms Of Service. I've been through this with my F1000, bought on ebay, and I had to work through three Tech Support folks until I got one who made it happen, however, he didn't have to do it for me. My web account would not accept the transfer of the MAC ID because it was registered to another subscriber, hence the necessity to work through customer support. The two previous refusals were based on the above cited TOS. All of this, even though the seller was a subscriber with Vonage in good standing. Tech Support simply dug their heels in over the TOS. If the purchaser is VERY lucky, he/she will be able to do it on the first try. However, the expectation of a trouble free transfer of this device, under the circumstances, is unreasonable. We appear to have had completely different experiences over such a transfer.
