It sounds like you are on the right path now. So your Linksys is a router/pone device combo unit? When you used charter, was the linksys your primary router after the cable modem? How long ago did you switch to verizon? The Actiontec is your modem for fios, right? Also, does it have for ethernet ports on the back to connect devices from your LAN? So you have the Wan port of the Linksys connected to one of the Lan ports on the actiontec as well as your computer(s)? That should work. Have you tried rebooting everything with that setup?
