Vonage It's really not the latency issue but the burst nature of the satellite service.

It's really not the latency issue but the burst nature of the satellite service. You get time slots for your up and downloads - yes these are only milliseconds but really screw up VoIP packets which unlike standard internet traffic are fire and forget. Usual symptoms will be very jerky and broken audio.
