It's become a moot point anyway because as of Jan. 1st, 2007, my insurance company will no longer pay the monthly PERS charges, so I'm going to have to give it up. In the 5 years I've had the PERS I've only had to use it for an emergency once. So I figure it's really not that important for me to keep around if I have to pay a $30+ monthly charge.
Well, I'm NOT a cheapskate, but I am on a budget, which is why I switched from POTS to Vonage. Thank you for your suggestion, I'll have to look into it to see if it's viable for my situation. :)
