It happened again to me and you are right. I tested it a few times and when I sign into VT, the Simulring is enabled in my online account. That is stupid for two reasons. It doesn't just enable the VT username, it enables all the numbers you have in your forwarding list. Why is this stupid? Because there is no way to delete numbers that you have entered into this list. A serious flaw with VT and with the online account in my opinion. I no longer need that phone number there and now when I log into VT it will simulring to that number too. Has anyone ever had success removing old numbers from the forwarding list?

You really can't "remove" the number because it does stay in Vonage's system whether
Maybe it is a case of your browser remembering the phone number and inserting it
I delete my browsing history almost daily so I don't think it's IE that is inserting
simul ring will not enable magically..make sure when u go to features->call
