It *can* be done, but it's very difficult. Just a quick overview to discourage you from attempting it without having done background research: find an old computer, install an FXS/FXO card, install Asterisk software, configure Asterisk, get Vonage's SoftPhone service, then hook up the media center to the FXS/FXO card on your Asterisk system. Keep in mind that SoftPhones have different phone #'s than the primary phone # on the account. Additionally, you'll have to figure out how to pass caller ID info to the Asterisk system. If you've got time, it can be done....but otherwise it's not worth it. To me, the lack of an RJ11 phone jack (output) of the Vtechs is a major problem.
