Is your overall internet browsing slow or is it just when you try to access the routers login page? What happens when you disconnect the WRTP54G from your setup and your modem is connected directly to your computer? ( I know you can't access the routers login page but is your web surfing faster?) Which internet browser do you use? You may want to check your internet connection settings options, particularly the LAN settings...IF one of these are incorrectly set it can cause extremely slow web surfing.

I've had my WRTP54G for well over a year now and although there are better "routers" on the market compared to this one, it has performed extremely well for me as a Voip device and as a router that is wired directly to my desktop and wirelessly for every notebook (4) I've set up.
