If your dedicated account is on any large ISP, you will see a random spam every few days, no matter who you are. The spammers ping those servers day and night with random addresses. If they do not reject it, you're on a list. If you so much as preview one, you will be on the "prefered list". The images in the message are beacons that register your address on their server, proving you read their mail.
