Vonage If you have turned off DHCP, then you need to get your PC on the 192.168.100.XXX

If you have turned off DHCP, then you need to get your PC on the 192.168.100.XXX network. Probably your router is handing out a different DHCP address. What you need to do is go into your network settings and turn off "Obtain an IP address automatically" and then set the IP to 192.168.100.99 (for example) and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. This should allow you to connect again long enough to turn on DHCP. Then you can put the Obtain IP address automatically back on. If you describe your exact setup we can probably give you some better advice. I think most of us basically have: BB modem -> Router -> MTA (wan) Then you don't have anything hooked up to the MTA's PC port (and you can't get to the config page as everyone has noted). The router gets a DHCP address from your IP, and then assigns the MTA a different address. In this case, 192.168.100.1 isn't really used since nothing is hooked to the PC port. But this setup seems to work best for most people.
