If you have a DSL modem that gives a natted IP to the pc plugged into it, you may have to put the DSL modem into bridge mode so the VOnage router can get a WAN ip. You can find most of these methods on dslreports.com or from the manual on the manufacturers website of your router. Some dsl/cable modems also have a firewall built in which will block the registration packets used by Vonage and that will have to be disabled.
