Vonage If you are using the router that has the Vonage adapter built in it is a bit harder.

If you are using the router that has the Vonage adapter built in it is a bit harder. What you need is two network cards in your computer. From the modem (cable or DSL) you need to plug that into the hub (the uplink) then plug in the router and the second network card into the hub (Can't be a switch). Then just like before, plug in your first network card into your router. This setup should also work. When you install Ethereal make sure you have it capture off your second netowrk card to get the phone traffic. I would assume this woud work, but I am not 100% sure. :) Let me know if it does. I also have the same setup where the router is also the Vonage Adpater. But I am lucky and my PC already has two network interfaces in it. Maybe I will test it out this weekend.
