If you are looking for a 2-line 5.8GHZ phone. I've tried the two models that are out there.

-Panasonic KX-TG6500 (or 6502 comes with an extra wireless handset)
-Uniden 8866 (There is another model with no speaker phone, but comes with voicemail). Also, there are two Radio Shack versions of this same phone.

Both of the above are the only 5.8ghz 2-line phones on the market. Motolora is coming out with a new one shortly.. MD7000. Not sure how good it is..

Anyway.. I bought both the Panasonic and the Uniden. I brought back the Panasonic....

Panasonic:
Likes:
Bigger buttons
Speed Dialing works better then the uniden

Dislikes:
Voicemail light only works with built-in answering machine. Called Panasonic to confirm.
Bigger phone - external antenna
No LCD display on the base. The base has a speaker phone but you must look at the cordless extension to see any caller ID.

Uniden:
Likes:
Light flashes and mail indicator for Vonage voicemail
good loud speaker phone
dual LCD displays
Cheaper then panasonic
no external antenna

Dislikes:
buttons are a little small
Speed dial is a kind of lame. Max 20 digits/speed dial and you can not link them to other buttons like the panasonic.
Ringer volume is a little loud, even at the lowest setting. You can change to a different tone to make it a little lower.
Intercom volume is loud even at the lowest setting.

Overall, I like the Uniden better then the Panasonic. Call Quality was about the same. Distance was about equal, too. The things that made me pick the Uniden over the Panasonic was the Price (much cheaper for Uniden), Voicemail indicator (No way I wanted to use Panasonic's answering machine), and Caller ID/display on the base. Neither unit has full duplex speaker phone like my old Siemens 2.4ghz, but then again..much clearer due to lack of interference from 802.11b/g.

I'm still waiting on the new Motorola to try.
