Vonage I would imagine the reason vonage has no direct debit facility is not necescarily

I would imagine the reason Vonage has no direct debit facility is not necescarily down to them but more likely there Bankers.

When a bank extends a business direct debit facilities it accepts unlimited responsibility for any customer disputes that unlimited by time and by ammount - that's the direct debit guarantee

Hence they are very reluctant to offer it to new business particularly those from abroad, and those offering something the bank is sceptical about.

Merchant services (cards) however doesn't present any such liability to the bank!!

ofcourse it could just be there american and never thought about it :lol:
