I've given up on getting these routers to play nice. I'll have to settle with the WRT54G first. I just wanted the best possible experience during my trial period.

Going to stick with this:

Cable Modem->WRT54G->RT31P2

Both Routers - Internet Connection Type: Obtain an IP automatically
Both Routers - Local DHCP Server: Enable
With both devices having Local DHCP Server: Enable
I can us the phone
I can get on Internet
I can map drives and use Remote Desktop within my network
I cannot connect to RT31 using 192.168.15 or 192.168.15:8080

but as expected - report of IP address conflicts

Internet Connection Type: Obtain an IP automatically
WRT54G:Local DHCP Server: Enable
RT31P2:Local DHCP Server: Disable
I can us the phone
I can get on Internet
I can map drives and use Remote Desktop within my network
I cannot connect to RT31 using 192.168.15 or 192.168.15:8080

No Conflicts

So, I have service (phone, internet, pc-to-pc) but I stil can't connect to the internal router even though I've enabled remote access.
