I've been with Vonage since they had like 45000+ people. All with my trusty Cisco ATA 186...

No problems for years...

Then, all of the sudden my cordless phones start saying that the line is in use... after hundreds of reboots etc... no joy.

So, I go down and by a brand spanking new WRTP54G from Best Buy.

From the moment I plugged it in, it has been nothing but a headache. Calls get dropped when someone calls when I'm on the phone already. I have to randomly reboot it like every couple hours. I had the stock 1.00.20 firmware and it wouldn't ever complete the upgrade automatically cause I had wireless on.

Then, I finally flashed it to 1.00.37 manually. Things were good for like a day. Then got home tonight and my base says no line. I check the status of the voice and it says:

Call1 Status: siezed

So, tried hard reboots, reflashes, everything, and the phone 1 light just keeps blinking.

So, had them move the line to phone port 2 and I got a dial tone, but there is this clicking in the background:

I've about had it with Vonage. I hate to pay the extra $15/month that Brighthouse wants for their phone service, but it seems Vonage is giving me no choice...

The person responsible for releasing the WRTP54G to the public should be fired.
