Actually there are two problems: outgoing calls to *123 (Vonage voice mail) missed the entire greeting at times. That was with 1.00.29 firmware. Vonage upgraded it to 1.00.45 firmware and the problem went away. We did notice during the troubleshooting that some called numbers worked better than others. My office voice mail (Phoenix Qwest DID to Definity G3 R12 software to an Audix LX) worked even when *123 didn't.
The second problem, which is still there, even though we've moved up to 1.00.50. It occurs on INCOMING calls; We answer after second ring or more to give CID time to come thru. We end up saying Hello more than once betore the calling party hears us. And neither my wife nor I are in any hurry to say hello. We generally push the talk button while the phone is held so that the CID is visible, and then put the phone to our heads, so there's a builtin pause before speaking as well.
Very annoying. :(
