Vonage I think the upshot to this is that (assuming you are still interested in a fix): 1.

I think the upshot to this is that (assuming you are still interested in a fix):

1. QoS has nothing to do with wireless, and certainly was not affected by your 2.4GHz phone or anything else, for that matter. If you don't have QoS tuned properly, it won't work on a wired phone either. Fortunately, with a WRT54G router (now that we know you have one), you can get QoS working:

2. Giving the full story is important. Results from www.testyourvoip.com and more information about your network setup, including what Vonage device you have, what other routers might be involved, and the other information requested in the sticky thread at the top of the list entitled "WHAT TO POST WHEN YOU HAVE TECHNICAL TROUBLE WITH Vonage" probably would isolate the real problem.

3. Wireless routers and 2.4GHz telephones can and do interfere with each other. Of course, since no one knew that your cordless phone and wireless router had been coexisting for some time, it was hard to narrow down the problem as having nothing to do with your wireless phone or router. Especially since you specifically stated that was your problem, rather than giving any information necessary to figure out what your problem is. I'm not trying to cause offense - I'm trying to get you to help me figure out what is really wrong, so I can help you fix it.

Here are a few steps, if you still have your Vonage line and are interested in getting it working, then we need to isolate the exact cause for the poor quality audio. I and others would be happy to help you out, we just need to figure out what the problem is first:

Read the "what to post" sticky thread and post the requested information. This will give enough information to try and isolate the problem.

Get a wired phone and plug it directly into your Vonage telephone adapter. Try a test call. Does that make everything work well, or are you still having bad sound quality. If that makes everything work well, you have wireless interference on your cordless phone. Try changing channels on the cordless phone, or log into your wireless router and change channels on that. If not, then you probably have an Internet connection issue or your Vonage device is defective.

Been having real problems for months. Vonage tier 1,2,3 engineers could not resolve.
It has nothing to do with bandwidth, rather it's entirely to do with the radio spectrum.
I AGREE. MY ISSUE IS THAT vONAGE NEVER ONCE TOLD ME GET RID OF THE 2.4 i TOLD THEM OVER
The problem isn't with Vonage, the problem is with your network & phone arrangement.
Sorry about that. Got my caps fixed.... I agree, but months have gone by and
