Vonage I started Vonage service 3 months ago and encouraged my neighbors to do the same



I started Vonage service 3 months ago and encouraged my neighbors to do the same and we are both having consistent trouble with our service. On average about once per five minutes in a phone call either the listen or talk portion of the call goes silent as though it is "buffering". The information below are the specs per the first post for our house:

1. Location - Annapolis, MD
2. ISP - Comcast Cable
3. Upload and Download Speeds - 3.18Mbps down/365kbps up/62% QOS (done with vonage-forum Voip Speed Test)
4. Motorola SurfBoard SB5120 Cable Modem
5. Linksys WRTP54G Voip router (came with Vonage service)
6. Setup: Internet -> CableModem -> WRTP54G Router -> Phone
7. Frequent (~every 5 minutes) dropping of in or outbound portion of call for a duration of ~10-30 seconds each occurance
8. TestYourVoIP results - I have the detailed page saved but it clocked at 4.1 up and 4.3 down with G.711 Codec

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I really want to be a Voip user but won't be able to sustain service if I can't fix this problem.
