Vonage I recently bought another TiVo Series 2 (540...) and I tried every combination

I recently bought another TiVo Series 2 (540...) and I tried every combination and permutation of usb/ethernet adapter, dialing prefix, "#,xxx", and ancient incantations and until after your brand new Tivo out of the box downloads its list of phone numbers (short download) and the software update (long download) there are no drivers for the network interface...you MUST use the phone. And vonage isn't capable of maintaining the connection long enough for the long download to finish, let alone begin. Once the software is loaded and your usb/ethernet device is recognized then you can continue the guided setup over the network. Now that there is some beta for a few selected devices maybe those devices will allow the Tivo to initialize. Users with other devices are still out in the cold.
