Vonage I received my Vonage bundle of joy last night, and so far it does not work.

I received my Vonage bundle of joy last night, and so far it does not work.
I basically get to the 4 blinking lights stage i.e. 4 blinks pause repeat.
My kit
Virgin Broadband ISP Router -> Linksys WRT54GS -> Dlink VTA
I have also tried another router with no success.
I have
reflashed the router with latest Firmware Version: v1.52.2
given the vta a both dhcp and static ip addresses
setup port forwarding for the ports mentioned elsewhere and even put the VTA in the DMZ
connected the VTA directly to the virgin cable modem
tried two phones plugged into both ports 1 or 2

• You could try connecting it in this order.
Virgin Media Cable Modem (I am presuming)
• Well it turns out that they had some sort of an issue as I spoke to them over a couple
