Coming from a small country (only 4 million people), I can't imagine having twenty million customers and having to provide acceptable service to each and every one of them. In New Zealand, it's expected that someone replies fairly promptly to any inquiry, and that if you can't provide the answer you actually admit that and pass the inquiry on to someone who does. So perhaps my expectations are too high?
