So, I got a PM asking for my MAC address, saying they could look into my problem by placing my device on debug and having me make local and 10-digit calls to see what happens. I'm guessing they have some kind of inside knowledge to be able to do that. Is it a good idea to work with this person, or should I go through customer service directly? What, if any, personal info (name, phone, address, billing info, etc.), could they obtain with my MAC address?
