Vonage I'm using the vonage service last 3-4 months. The problem I'm facing is the delay
I'm using the Vonage service last 3-4 months. The problem I'm facing is the delay in the ringer on the incoming calls.
If some one calls my number, the caller will hear several rings, but my end (receiver) hear only one or two. By the time the caller may hang up. I power recycled the router. Disconnect the expansion unit and checked again, still the same problem. I got several complaints from my friends and relatives not to answer the phone. I also checked several times calling from the cell phone and notices the same issue. I tried several times to contact the Vonage customer service, holding the phone for several minutes, but no luck. :(
Called the phone manufacturer and said, they can't do anything and nothing wrong with the phone. Then they said you need to check with Vonage and check the compatibility of the phone.
If any one know what is the cause of this issue?
I'm greatly appreciated if someone respond this issue.
Router using : RT31P2
Phone using : Motorola MD490 expansion unit.
