I'm really confused and disappointed. I signed up for vonage yesterday, but they couldn't process it right away because of the DSL on my line. I'm getting my internet service changed in the near future, so I just thought I'd cancel my Vonage and do it later. This all happened within an hour. I called them up, explained my situation, and was sent through the cancellation process. They said my credit card would be refunded. Then I got an email saying that my phone number transfer had been cancelled. Today I got an email saying my device had shipped. What? I called back and they said my account was still open and hadn't been closed. I went through what seemed like the same exact cancellation process as yesterday. Truthfully, I was really upset when I found out that since the device had been sent none of my money was going to be refunded until I sent back the device, plus they were going to charge me a disconnect fee for $43.29. What?! I'm really confused and disappointed. I know plenty of people who have the service and love it, but I really felt like I wasn't treated appropriately and was taken advantage of. I tried to fix it with them on the phone, but the woman I was talking to wouldn't hear it. She said I could call back later; she wouldn't let me talk to anyone else. I said I had canceled it the day before and shouldn't have to pay for what I felt was their mistake. I guess my question is: Is there anyone I can talk with who can refund all my money and pay for the device to be shipped back once it arrives. Thanks for reading. I don't mean to knock the product they sell, but in my opinion, the customer care in my case was poor. Sam
