I'm not sure what's going on with your first question. But as to the recent caller ID change for cell phones this is something Vonage has just implemented in the last 2 weeks or so. I'm seeing it here in Texas and others in this forum have reported it too. Caller ID will only have "Cellular TX, or Celluar NY" depending on the state the cell call originates in.
It's another Vonge quirk that we'll either have to live with or go back to land line service. With the recent increases in taxes that Vonage is charging there soon will be almost no price advantage in having Vonage. My bill went up again. And to be honest I am just about ready to pay the extra couple of bucks and go back to my old land line phone company. The horrible customer service at Vonage and the frequent quirks that we have to put up with are just not worth it anymore.
