I'm fairly new to Vonage but have been lurking in this forum for a while doing some research. It seems that there are some known issues with getting Tivo/DirecTivo to work over Vonage; not insurmountable issues though. I currently have Dish Network and am using their DVR functionality which needs to dial up once per day (3:00 AM) to get updates for the guide. It also needs to dial up to send PPV info. Does anybody on here have any experience specifically with Dish Network's DVR and Vonage? Do I need to be taking some of the same steps that others have taken to get Tivo to work?

The DVR has a screen where I can test the connection and it comes back successfuly but I'm not sure how accurate of an indicator this is. I believe that the only way that I'll know if it's truly working is to check my guide and make sure that it's still updating.

TIA for any help/advice you can provide.
