I just got the RT today. I have an existing Netgear based network. I use several wireless Netgear mp101 digital music players that work with my Netgear 614 wireless router almost perfectly.

I still chose the RT over the standalone because QoS is not available on the Netgear side. I also did not want to use the RT's DHCP because the Netgear router can assign IP's based on mac address.

I really did not want to mess up my existing network moving from DSL/Telco to Cable/VOIP so this worked for me:

I connected the SB5100 to the WAN port of the RT. I then hooked port 1 of the RT to the WAN port on the Netgear.

The RT has DHCP on but set to only one avail IP to be assigned, which will always be 192.168.15.100. I set it to 192.168.15.1 with the subnet of 255.255.255.128 (not 255.255.255.0). DMZ is set for 192.168.15.100 which will always be fed to the Netgear router. QoS set for Voip and HTTP server priority.

The Netgear is also set for DHCP on with its usual sticky ips. It is set to 192.168.1.1 with a subnet of 255.255.255.0. My settings for port fowarding, spi filtering, blocked sites, ect all remains the same.

So far no problems whatsoever!
