I just got my service about a week ago and I like it so far, but what i need is for the one line to work for 2 or more phones. I bought a splitter, but does not work. I have a DLink VTA, can anyone help me please??? This is what I'm doing: cable modem to router Router to 2 computers and phone adapter phone adapter has 2 lines (i had thought i could use 2 phones for one line, but turns out to NOT be the case, so i have to switch phone cords every time I need to use either phone.) I bought a splitter, but it's a little wider than i need, so i plugged in a phone cord to an extender (female on both ends.) One end has the source cord plugged into it and the other has the splitter. Does not work. I don't get a dial tone. Please someone help me!! I don't want to have to buy ANOTHER splitter. thanks!!
