Vonage I just got home yesterday from a trip to Orlando Florida. I also stayed in Sarasota,
I just got home yesterday from a trip to Orlando Florida. I also stayed in Sarasota, Florida. While in Sarasota, we had a hotel room that did have an Ethernet jack. I plugged my Vonage Motorola adapter into the jack, watched the lights blink, and then noticed the solid green light which meant it was working! I took a cheap cordless phone with me. I plugged it in, and yes it did work. I had my Ottawa phone line with me to place or receive calls while in Sarasota, Florida. It was quite cool. 8)
We went to Orlando for 3 days and stayed in a hotel that had high speed internet in each room, but it was wireless. So for those 3 days, we had no Vonage phone service. I am not certain that one could get the Vonage adapter to work well with a wireless connection, or what equipment you would need to get it to work.
