Vonage I just bought a new Vtech DECT 6.0 multi-handset phone to replace my Vtech 5.8 mhz

I just bought a new Vtech DECT 6.0 multi-handset phone to replace my Vtech 5.8 mhz phone that I've had for 4 years with NO trouble. The ONLY reason I bought new phones was that it cost the same as replacing the batteries! I've also bought Vtech for my technology challenged parents and they've had trouble in 3 years. Vtech phones have been a solid quality performer for me. My only complaint is that they don't have headphone jacks on the new phones. I can't speak to their tech support since I've never had a problem with the phones!
