Vonage I have tried all this on my HR10-250 and 99 times out of 100, it fails. What was really

I have tried all this on my HR10-250 and 99 times out of 100, it fails. What was really disappointing, was that when I first plugged in the DSL filter, it worked! I was ecstatic. But, that was 5 weeks ago and I have not had a single successful connection since. Here's my question: There are many, many posts all over the boards (e.g. dbstalk, tivocommunity, avsforum) about Tivo and Vonage. But, they rarely differentiate between models of Tivo. I have read (somewhere) that the HR10-250 does not respond to the modem slow-down commands, like ,#104. So, the tricks that work on regular Tivo's are not applicable to the HR10-250. Since a couple of posters on this thread specify it is working on an HR10-250, I would really like to know if it works as well as the other Tivo's and if my observation above about the HR10-250 not responding to some codes is correct:?

Simple solution for DirectTivo

After 6 months of research I finally have the solution to my DirectTiVo over Vonage
Where is your DLS filter pluged in at? I just got a replacemeant HD tivo and I'm trying
Glad someone is on the research path. What about a cable modem?
The DSL filter is hooked up in the back of the Linksys router. The filter also improves
Thanks for the info. My HR10-250 is up and running smoothly. Bye Bye Verizon land
Try a different number for your local are code. I was lucky to find a local number
There are two different series of DirecTiVo units. Series 1 responds to modem
Thanks for the responses. BPatti - I have tried area codes all over the country,
Try (631) 667-7892 Deer Park or (631) 892-8005 Bay Shore
