Vonage I have the exact same setup and problem. I thought the VOIP router was the problem



I have the exact same setup and problem. I thought the VOIP router was the problem at first, so I took it from work and plugged it in at my place and it worked just fine. I figured then it was just a blocked port on the router. I removed ALL the firewall settings and filters I had set up and it still did not work. I opened the VOIP ports, I set up a DMZ, and I came in on a saturday evening when the business was closed did a total shutdown and still no VOIP. I even plugged the Vonage router directly into the modem and it still did not work. I called my ISP to find out if they had blocked ports or set up filters and they told me they did nothing of the sort because VOIP is a service they want to start offering in the near future. I called Vonage tech support and spent an entire afternoon on the phone with them, to finally end up with them telling me to plug it back in directly to the modem... I have done the VOIP speed test and I get a TERRIBLE download speed, however I have done this test on other sites and my speed is just fine. I will admit that I am totally stumped!.
