Vonage I have the DLink that Verizon gave me (I have the 5mbps service), and from there
I have the DLink that Verizon gave me (I have the 5mbps service), and from there I have connected the old Vonage ATA box. Its been working perfectly fine since the day I set it up (touch wood!). Have not had to muck with it at all - no power cycling, no config changes, nothing.
2 times in the last year I have picked up the phone and not had a dial tone, but both incidents were for less than 15 mins each, and I had service back without having to explicitly do anything.
2 other times, my wife's cell phone has rung (that is the Network Unavailability backup number).
Overall, a sweet experience, and lots of dollars saved when compared to my Verizon POTS line.
I also make regular international calls for durations of about 30 mins each, and never a problem!
