I have recently signed up with Vonage and was under the impression that i would be able to forward my number to my Chinese mobile. This is not the case as i've realised, and has been requested for a long time as i've noticed in past posts.

I think it would be a feature that would improve Vonage's service tremendously. I've been a Skype user for the past year, and living in China, i've used the international call forwarding feature religiously. People are able to call my Montreal number and if I don't answer my skype, it is forwarded to my mobile in China, where if I answer, I get charged the international cost of $0.02/min. Not only is it a plus for me in China, but when I travel around the world, I am able to forward my number to my Mobile wherever I am. i.e I go to Hong Kong, and I forward it to my Hong Kong number, I go to Italy and I forward it to my Italian number... I assume all costs for the international calling but for the convenience of having only 1 number for people to call me on, and a great savings in long distance charges for both myself and the caller.

I have now set up my Vonage so that if I don't answer it forwards to my Skype number which if I don't answer that, forwards on to my Chinese mobile, but through the gateways, a significant amount of information is lost, and not only is the call quality horrible, but extremely delayed.

Instead of Skype making my money and giving me horrible quality, I really believe Vonage should jump on this feature and make many of their users content. Please help by replying to this post, and maybe Vonage will see that a feature like this would be greatly appreciated/used by their customers, and could in return be quite lucrative for them.
