Vonage I have had mine set up both ways, and it just seems to work better with the Vonage

I have had mine set up both ways, and it just seems to work better with the Vonage box behind the router, in other words, Modem  Wireless Router  Vonage Box. I have nothing behind the Vonage Box, All of my PCs connect through another port or wireless. The only time I connect anything to the downstream on the Vonage Box is if I need to configure it, as I am unable to configure it from the upstream (Internet/router facing) side. As for file/print sharing, you might try to enable net-bios. Supposedly it isn't needed and is less secure, but it seems to make a difference for me. Either that, or download a program such as network magic to help you. Microsoft's Windows Live One-care 2.0 when it comes out is supposed to help you, and McAffee is supposed to be adding it in also. I don't work for these companies, but it will help as a starting point.
