Vonage I have had 2 f1000's with BroadVoice and Vonage. Both required a factory reset



I have had 2 f1000's with BroadVoice and Vonage. Both required a factory reset to work. After the reset both have worked flawlessly. (Level 1 can't do this L2 will have it up in under 2 minutes) Its is my understanding from multi UTStar forums that it a standard function(although irritating at first) because they do NOT get as pre-configured as other VoIP devices. I personally love both mine! other interesting info: Also when you first get it, its is partially UNLOCKED. If you get the factory Admin password/key and change the settings via the web gui you can activated it to any VoIP that accepts it MAC address range. Vonage will not accept anyones but their own and BroadVoice and others will almost take anything.( ONLY if you do this before it connects,registers or updates firmware to the vendor/provider you got it from) In order to do the factory reset the Tech must give to this(factory password/key to you. (hint hint)

try soft resetting the Wi-Fi Phone........Menu->MISC->Restore defaults->it
Login to the router and go to Wireless ->Change the SSID(may be ur first name).......then
