I have TWC and an RTP300 with Linksys Wireless N Router ... 15Mb Down All day and night ..... your cable modem should be on the wan port of the Wireless router, you rtp should plug into the built in hub on the router and QOS should be turned OFF.

you computers also plug into the same hub spaces .... NOT THE RTP.

The rtp is just a device on your network and nothing as far as your internet Flows thru it .... think of it as being just like any other network card in a computer ... that being said; are you by chance trying to share an internet connection thru windows ICS? that would definantely slow you down ....
