Vonage I had not thought about the fact that the telephone line coming out of the Vonage

I had not thought about the fact that the telephone line coming out of the Vonage router is using line-1. I will probably just create a new line that crosses over from line 1 (blue/blue-white pair) to line 2 (orange/orange-white pair). This way I will not have to re-wire any of the wall jacks that will only use the land line. However your suggestion will be worth looking into.

The normal open line voltage on a telephone line is around 50 volts. Connect two
Thanks, your responses have been very helpful
hi, i am a vonage customer. i have taken a basic landline connection so that my home
I assume that what you're trying to do is use your house wiring for both phones.
