Vonage I had allot of problems suddenly, I was running a Toshiba modem, motorola voip

I had allot of problems suddenly, I was running a Toshiba modem, motorola Voip , and a linksys router. Everything was great for about 5 mos. then the phone would cut out, etc. coinsedently Comcast upped their speed at that time, so first I got the linksys wrt54gp2 broadband router with 2 phone ports, go rid of the old router and motorola Voip, some change but not perfect, second upped my Comcast speed to gold for $10 a mo. now I'm getting 4500 - 6000 download speeds and 730-750 upload, phone is better, third replaced the Toshiba modem with a motorola 5100
now everything seems perfect (only been 2 days though) If I were to do it again I'd start with the modem , the toshiba was several years old and didn't support the new docsys 2 standard which I think Comcast now uses
