I guess this email serves as both my introduction to the forum and also offers a glimpse of what brought me here. The fact that Vonage has the ability to send your voicemails to any email account is what finally sold me on their service. Unfortunately, my Outlook is a bit too cluttered and bogged down by the huge size of my .pst file as it is to make opening a bunch of .wav files all day long very practical. So, I started looking around to see if there were any other solutions (other than streaming from the Vonage website). I found some posts here about people looking for an app to check voicemail, and also some posts on a Windows Media Center Edition forum. I did find one little app that seemed to do something similar, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for. I decided to create my own utility (being that programming is my day job and all). After realizing that I really liked what I've created so far, I've decided to release it as freeware for others to use when it is done. On this page you can see a screenshot and a description of what I'm working on, with a sign up form to be notified when it is ready for download: http://www.bussetech.com/vm2pc/ Right now it works with my Vonage account, and I'll be working throughout the week to make it configurable for others to use. Let me know what you think...

It is nice to see that someone is coming up with a free alternative to VM Rover. Does
sounds and looks pretty sweet, I'll definitely check it out when it's done.
Stephen, It uses the email option via POP3 with planned support for TLS/SSL so
Count me in! I'm definitely interested in something like this. While I already

any new updates?
Nothing new. I've had to shelve it for a bit to concentrate on a number of big projects
xvMail downloads your Vonage voicemail from their secure website and stores
I have created a perl script for manipulating your Vonage voicemails. I use it
