Vonage I got a PAP2 adapter from Circuit City and had nothing but trouble with it. Three

I got a PAP2 adapter from Circuit City and had nothing but trouble with it. Three units later I talked to the Vonage Tech and I asked her what adapter was the best one out there and she said the Motorola VT 1000 series. I called 5 Radio Shacks and found one that had one demo left. I told them to hold it for me and drove as fast as possible to get it. The next day I tried to get one for a friend and was told by Radio Shack that they got a memo to return all Motorloa modems. As far as I can see the Motorola is no longer availible. The motorola adapter I got Worked great. No Hiss hum or interference from any other "boxes" around my system. I also noticed that the FAX worked perfectly. I think Vonage found this unit to be too good and could not then charge the $9.00 for a fax line. I was fortunate enough to get one of the last Motorola units out there.
Vonage should look at the new Motorola units that just came out and drop the problematic Linksys adapters if they want to have HAPPY customers. It seems that the cheaper units are VERY troublesome and causing alot of un needed calls for tech support. My pap2 was a piece of crap and the other Linksys adapters seem to have a lot of problems. There was one Motorola availible on Ebay last week that went unsold. Price-$29.00.
I hope Vonage realizes that cheap is not always the way to go. Just my 2 cents.
