I found this out the hard way, also. It does appear the order screen is hardcoded for UPS and wasn't changed when they stared using DHL.

The order number is the 'customer reference number'. To find your package at DHL using this, go to DHL, hit Track, and hit the By Reference tab at the top. You put in the Vonage order number and it will find your order.

I know they say you'll have it in five business days, but I can't see what takes the DHL process so long.

Ordered 1/31 Monday
Shipped 2/1 Tuesday:
2/4/05 9:23 am With delivery courier.
6:34 am Arrived at DHL facility. Chantilly, VA
2/2/05 10:51 am Processed at Sort Facility.Wilmington, OH
2/1/05 8:10 am Picked Up by DHL. Shipper's Door

So, why does it take three (really four) days when DHL had it Tuesday, did nothing until the next morning. it took two days to go from OH to VA (DC) and then it's here today (Fri afternoon).

Still within their guidelines, but it seems this is really slow. And, I gave them my work address just so it would be faster; UPS is usually two days. If I knew they were using DHL@home, I'd left the home address! :)

Edit: Oops, I forgot this has to spend two days in the local Post Office, so I won't get it until Monday or so. What the heck's the point of not using something that delivers straight to the customer in 2-3 days like UPS? Many places that aren't a risk they leave it on the doorstep... I guess they are trying to save a nickel and charge us $9.95 for shipping 4 pounds... :)
