Vonage I emailed as well as called Vonage about this. (Ex) Fiance moved out a couple months

I emailed as well as called Vonage about this. (Ex) Fiance moved out a couple months ago, phone service was in his name, it's still connected, he has all account info and no matter how many times I've asked him he doesn't supply me with login info nor will he change account info and turn it over to me.. And I finally figured out why - he can see who is calling me and who i am calling (no one special!) as well as probably access all voice mail online, right? That's what I'm seeing here anyway. So Vonage won't transfer phone into my name, even though I can prove my current legal residency in this apartment (my apartment!) and they said I have to sign up for new account. Seems like a lot of work to just change an account name/access but ok I have no choice. So I want to know... Will they request that I return adapter and have to send me new one? That would be dumb but considering what I've read here, it's probably an answer I might get from them. They're hard to reach to ask directly. Can I keep my current VONAGE phone number? When I sign up, and enter current *Vonage* phone number, will they be able to transfer it into my name/account or will they disconnect and then I'll be without phone until the transfer/establish service in my name.. ? Any reps with knowledge who aren't just guessing.. I'd love some advice here please.. [font=Tahoma:f6c911c725]
