I can tell what mta you're using because it's in big bold letters in the subject of your post. the point here is that the mta is a poor router, designed for the average end user with a modem and one computer, preferably lightly used, so why would you put it in between your internet connection and good router? let your good router handle everything. anyway, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone recommending your setup with the possible exception of Vonage themselves so they can eliminate other user issues with routers. mos has nothing to do with your problem or where you put your mta. you can have a dialup connection and no Voip service at all and still have an mos score. it's irrelevant to this entire thread, your setup, and your issue.
