Vonage I bought an HP 3330 to replace my Canon F50, which is an inkjet. Both are multifunction.

I bought an HP 3330 to replace my Canon F50, which is an inkjet. Both are multifunction. When I first signed up for Vonage, I had to dig the Canon out of the closet just to fax my Vonage LOA because the HP could not make a connection to Vonage's LNP fax line. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with HP support. They had me decrease the speed. Some posts suggest installing a DSL filter backwards. It made no difference. Using only the phone cord that comes the the HP as stated in its manual made no difference. My conclusion: Find a fax machine that works with Vonage. I try to scan PDF files as attachments throught email whenever possible.
