Vonage I believe the VT2442 has DHCP relay which may help. Check the box and put 192.168.1.1

I believe the VT2442 has DHCP relay which may help. Check the box and put 192.168.1.1 into the address. Although I have never used this, it is supposed to relay the DHCP info from the other (earlier router's DHCP). Let us know if you try it and if it works. [-o<
