I apologize in advance, as I know the whole "dual-router" config has been discussed ad nauseum, but I can't for the life of me get mine to function correctly. I'd appreciate any help you guys can provide!

First the details:
1. Columbus, OH
2. WOW! highspeed cable
3. 6500kbps/1200kbps
4. Don't know modem type, not home at the moment
5. Vonage adapter: Linksys RTP300
6. Modem -> Router -> Vonage
7. No dial tone
8. Not home to run test at the moment
My Vonage has worked flawlessly for several months, with the exception of the expected headaches that come along with most Linksys routers. So I recently got a new router (Netgear FVS114) and threw it in the mix. I disabled NAT and DHCP on the RTP300 and placed it behind the Netgear (per Option1 on this page) . However, I'm getting no dial tone at all. The Phone 1 light that should be lit up on the RTP300 is not. When I pick up my receiver, I get the first few words of an error message and then it cuts out. All I hear is "This phone line..." and then nothing.

So, I'm at a loss and have no idea where to go from here. Would really appreciate any help! I'd love to just switch over to the D-Link VTA but don't feel like spending $50 on the problem.

Yeah I was a bit confused about that as well. Here are my results from DSLreports.com:
Just got off the phone with Vonage tech-support, and he gave me a list of UDP ports
I reset the RTP to factory defaults, and the phone came back alive finally. I disabled
