Vonage I am west of Chicago and use Comcast. I have been using Vonage for about a month now.

I am west of Chicago and use Comcast. I have been using Vonage for about a month now. My broadband speeds are a pretty steady 240K up and 1450k down. Comcast has been pretty stable for me lately. For me Vonage works very well over Comcast. My wife has never complained about voice quality and I consider that a pretty good test. The only complaints I have with Vonage are a couple of minor incompatibilities between the Cisco ATA 186 and my cordless phone system. The message waiting lamp on my phone doesn't work with the ATA (the two use different message waiting protocals) and there is a timing issue between my answering machine and the ATA (after a message is left and the caller hangs up neither the answering machine nor the ATA will release until the answering machine times out). All in all Vonage works good for me and very well over Comcast.
