I am sure it is just a matter of time before Vonage will be hit with a class action lawsuit for the way they deal with their customers. Signed up with Vonage 10/2007 and had many problems with poor call quality, garbled sound. I was using Clearwire as my internet provider. I did have Vonage Customer service call Clearwire to make sure they weren't blocking the ports. Internet Speed Test 1648 kbps download, 256 kbps upload. Worked with high level technical support at vonage. One of their reps finally said there is nothing we can do for you. He said in some areas of the US Vonage is great in other areas it is terrible. So what can you do? I went ahead and cancelled on October 3rd. They charged me a full month service $40 and then tacked on another $40 for early termination fee. Strange thing is I kept staying with them as they begged me not to cancel and they would fix things. They never did and when I finally cancelled because the quality was so bad they socked it to me with cancellation fees! What a joke of a company! I hope they meet their demise soon as with customer service like this is couldn't come soon enough.

Cancellation fee is where they get their money. This is a cancellation fee of 39.99
I read the terms of service and even checked out Vonage online before signing up.
Sames as for the discounted cable deals, direct TV, cell phones, etc. Surprised?
Confused at this posting. This information is all there in the terms of service.
I don't think there is really much Vonage can do since this has to be ISP issue. Did
I've been with Vonage for just over 3 years, the service was OK except for the Vonage
When you call to cancel, smile and say "no thank you" to the discounted offers,
