I am pretty sure no one in this thread is a Vonage employee to start with. Some of us may work in the telecom industry and all of us use Vonage but that doesn't mean we work for Vonage. You never provided us with the exchange that you were calling for us to tell you why that is considered an NGN number, so going on that one would assume you dialed a number listed as an NGN number(What is the exchange by the way?) I looked through that listing that I posted earlier and I can't see how you can be calling a valid UK number and not have it fall under one of the categories listed there.

I personally was not trying to be rude but you came here giving us very little information and immediately blaming Vonage for something that seemed to be a lack of information on the product you are using so you can see where our responses were coming from.

As for "The customer is always wrong", that is something you should not be hearing from Vonage and they should have a better reason for you. As for here, again this is an independent site none of us work for or represent Vonage in any way and if you are wrong, or I believe you are I don't see any reason to not tell you so.

Finally, (again) what is the exchange that you are calling?
